As the Director of Culinary Services at Benedictine, a leading provider of senior living and health care services, I oversee the food service operations for multiple communities. I am responsible for ensuring quality, safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction, as well as managing budgets, staff, and vendors. I have a strong background in culinary education and management, with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Concordia University-St. Paul and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Restaurant, Culinary, and Catering Management from South Central College. I also hold multiple certifications, including ServSafe Manager, ServSafe Food Handler, and Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional (CDM-CFPP). I have a passion for food service and skill development, and I enjoy creating and implementing innovative menus, training and mentoring staff, and collaborating with other departments and stakeholders. I have successfully increased resident satisfaction, reduced food waste, and improved operational efficiency in my current and previous roles. I am always eager to learn new techniques, technologies, and trends in the food service industry, and I strive to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our residents and guests.
