Associate I at Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc.(WJE) with a focus on Building Enclosures, Structural Engineering, and Historic Preservation. Previously, I performed condition assessment surveys, as-built surveys, reinforced concrete design, water testing, load testing of anchors, quality control assistance, and more as a Structural & Architectural Engineering Intern with Wiss, Janney, Elstner (WJE). I have also performed structural tests and on-site inspections with Restoration Engineering, acquired basic construction/civil engineering knowledge and collaboration skills through jobs at Monarc Construction and Prime AE Group, and developed leadership and communication skills through refereeing recreational and travel soccer games. As a research assistant in the Structures & Materials Lab at Virginia Tech, I also explored the long-term environmental impact on the bond between steel and CFRP by preparing double strap joint specimens for simulated and real environment exposures and tensile testing.
