I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Kentucky University and currently serve as the Trauma Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Manager at HCA Florida Blake Hospital. Prior to this role, I advanced through multiple leadership positions at TriStar Skyline Medical Center—including Clinical Nurse Coordinator on the Trauma Medical-Surgical Unit, Charge Nurse, and most recently TriStar Division Clinical Nurse Coordinator.During my tenure at Skyline, I progressed from a new graduate nurse into leadership by consistently demonstrating strong clinical judgment, operational awareness, and commitment to staff support. I collaborated closely with unit leadership to balance administrative workflows with direct clinical oversight, and I’m proud to have founded the hospital’s first Clinical Nurse Coordinator Council, strengthening communication and shared governance across departments.My appointment as the TriStar Division Clinical Nurse Coordinator further expanded my leadership skill set, enhancing my strategic thinking, system-level understanding, and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams. Now, in my role as Trauma PCU Manager at HCA Florida Blake, I bring this experience to lead high-acuity patient care, support nursing excellence, and foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
