About Bram Buyink

Founded in SMRE Spa is an international group of companies headquartered in Italy. SMRE has multiple business units that operate in a variety of industries, ranging from electric mobility, battery technology for EVs, and industrial automation and machinery. Since I started at SMRE, back in 2009, the company has grown from less than 30 to more than 100 employees. Today, SMRE has a global presence with more than manufacturing solutions installed on 6 continents. SMRE counts on an international sales and service network in Norway, Sweden, UK & Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, China, and South Korea. In 2014 a branch was openend in Cleveland (OH) to service customers in North and South America, and strategic partnerships and JV's were created with Zemat TG in Poland, Rotax-BRP in Austria, and the Faist Group in Italy. SMRE was quoted on the Milan stock market (SMR.MI) in April 2016 and in July 2017 acquired a majority in the Systematica Group of Terni, pioneers in developing state of the art solutions for video surveillance, geolocation, telecontrol for aerospace and military projects. SMRE was incorporated into the SolarEdge group in January 2019. I am a highly experienced professional specialized in sales & project management of custom made industrial manufacturing solutions to process specialty fabrics and technical textiles. I am passionate about understanding my customers' manufacturing needs and coordinating the engineering of tailor made solutions for their requirements. What starts as a sketch on a blank piece of paper ends with the supply and installation of a hi-tech production line. In the 9 years at SMRE, I have been involved in the sale and supply of some 400+ machines now running in many countries in the world.
