About Bram Hoovers

I am a pragmatic legal advisor, with a broad experience in privacy laws and the implementation of privacy compliance programs. Currently I am director legal at Considerati. I advise various different clients at a strategical level across the entire spectrum of data protection- and privacy laws, including AI regulations. Because of my in-house experience I am a pragmatic business partner and trusted advisor, using my in depth knowledge to provide practical solutions. Before I worked at Considerati I was employed with Philips, working as a privacy lawyer and heading a team responsible for the implementation of the privacy compliance program for Philips Group Marketing and Philips Personal Health. Besides my role at Considerati I am ‘chair’ of PrivacyConnect Amsterdam and teach at the InHolland academy. I studied Law at the University of Utrecht and have an LLM in International and European Economic Law from the University of Maastricht. Furthermore, I am a certified information privacy professional (CIPP/E) of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and hold a post graduate privacy education degree (VPR-A specialisatieopleiding Privacy- en gegevensbeschermingsrecht).
