About Bram Volbeda

As student Medical Engineering I have great interest in people and technology. My goal is therefore to combine these two in order to improve the healthcare and wellbeing of many! During my education I have focused on the modelling of the cardiovascular system by specializing within the group of Cardiovascular Biomechanics, of which it is the goal to be able to predict the course of disease and the outcome of a clinical intervention for the individual patient. After a board year at FruitPunch AI for Health as Head of AI for Health and External Affairs, I am now able to put my education and newly acquired AI/ML knowledge into practice with my graduation project. In this exciting project I am evaluating and developing Physics Informed Neural Networks for clinical practice, and I look forward to contribute in the unique field where healthcare and technology meet!
