COVID-19 and quarantine changed the world, the way we navigate challenges, and brought forth our need for connection. I am passionate about helping clients learn new skills to deal with change and rediscover their ability to create solutions to fit their world. As a clinician, I work to reignite self awareness and empowerment. I assist clients in reevaluating their focus and lean into the present. My experience in mental health has allowed me to assist clients struggling with depression, anxiety, impulsivity, substance use, and self esteem issues in group and/ or individual therapy. My experience with teaching healthy eating and mindfulness allows me to assist clients with behavior and lifestyle change to manage weight and create healthy habits. Mental health involves taking care of your mind and body even when you are feeling good. Asking for help and opening yourself for therapy takes courage.
