With over 25 years of experience in health care, Brandi Seys is a trusted advisor for Curi's clients in all areas of risk management and patient safety. Brandi joined Curi in 2023 following the company's acquisition of Michigan Professional Insurance Exchange. As a Senior Risk Consultant, Brandi focuses on helping clients improve patient care and reducing poor outcomes across several care settings, with an enhanced focus on obstetrics (OB). Brandi began her career as a Labor and Delivery/OB registered nurse in a high-risk environment. She then transitioned into a role as a childbirth educator and clinical instructor at two teaching hospitals and finally into a Legal Nurse Consultant role assisting in evaluating and resolving complex MPL insurance claims. At Curi, she utilizes her many years of clinical and OB-specific experience to help clients achieve the best claim management outcomes and identify risk reduction solutions for loss control and patient safety. She is honored that her work helps improve the delivery of quality health care.
