About Brandon Baranco

Throughout my career in government, public policy, and now the private sector, I’ve always enjoyed finding opportunities to build strong relationships, lead staff, manage projects, and execute deliverables to fulfill the needs of the public or private sector. Currently, I am the AT & T Area Manager for Alameda, Contra Costa, San Joaquin, and Stanislaus Counties, where I represent the Company's interest before City and County elected officials, governmental departments and agencies. I am also tasked with building stronger community relationships through collaborative partnerships, charitable giving, and utilizing Company resources to show up strong for the communities we serve. In previous roles, I served as Chief of Staff for Councilmember Treva Reid, District 7 in Oakland, CA, where I manage all administrative tasks, draft legislation, analyze policies, collaborate with local political leaders, and cultivate strong relations with city and council leaders; I’ve represented the Vice Mayor and Councilmember Larry Reid on the Equity Caucus, led budget negotiations to reconcile a $3 billion budget; I have also served as Deputy Chief of Staff for the Councilmember of District 4. In all of my jobs, I’ve enjoyed achieving or exceeding set objectives, and engaging with diverse community leaders.
