About Brandon Bartelds

I wear a number of hats that include Application Developer, Systems Administrator, I.T. Manager as well as Project Manager. I am currently working on a Maximizer Database extraction to facilitate migration from an MS SQL database into a SaaS solution. The project involves the extraction of hundreds of thousands of data rows, where I reverse engineered binary data formats and wrote a handful of applications in C# to convert the data for import into another database software. When it comes to my work as a Systems Administrator, I spent many years supporting Windows domain servers, however my preference is running Debian Linux servers where possible. My other current project is writing a new website, where I primarily code in PHP and constantly strive to conform to XHTML Strict and both CSS2 and CSS3 standards. I pride myself in writing flexible code and interacting heavily with objects and databases to facilitate easier site administration and implementation of back office tools via authentication and content stored in MySQL databases I believe heavily in keeping data safe, and attempt to make security a primary consideration in all software I write or administer.
