Prospera is a Canadian Credit Union, headquartered in Surrey, BC with offices throughout the province of BC with a specific focus on the Greater Vancouver and Kelowna Markets. Certified International Credit Professional (CICP). Currently preparing for the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) examination in Jan 2025. My experience thus far consists of working in both retail and commercial banking at very different institutions with greatly differing markets across western Canada. This industry experience combined with a B.comm in finance and a couple industry designations at a young age will make me a diversified candidate for a future in commercial banking, corporate finance and Enterprise risk management. My ability to build and foster relationships both with my team and with my clients across branches will continue to be beneficial as I am ever expanding my network. I hope to leverage my versatile experience and education as I establish a 40-50 year career in banking and financial institution risk with aspirations to sharpen my current skill set in business and corporate lending and eventually pursue opportunities in Market risk management with a desired end focus on corporate treasury (liquidity risk, Funds Transfer Pricing and Asset Liability Management) and that my career path becomes more streamlined towards senior management/governance over a specified sector of a financial institution with an emphasis on balance sheet management, liquidity and other regulatory risks and their intertwinement with capital adequacy. I hope that this chosen career path will provide the opportunity to take on several international assignments with a focus on Asia Pacific, Australia, Europe or Latin America.
