About Brandon Benard

Growing up I participated in extensive team sports activities at both the recreational and select levels. Health, fitness, and athletics have been a central part of my life. There were many times when injury sidelined my participation. Physical therapists guided me through the challenge of recovery and empowered me to work through the pain to restoration. They also taught me about how to maintain fitness and avoid injury in the future. The support I received inspired me to want to do the same for others. Helping others to enjoy life and live their best is one of my main goals in life. As a physical therapist I will have daily opportunities to help and guide people from a place of weakness and struggle to empowerment over physical challenges. I am currently a second-year student studying Kinesiology at North Central Texas College where I plan to complete an Associate degree in December 2021. My plan is to complete undergraduate studies at the University of North Texas and go on to pursue a masters degree in Kinesiology at Texas Women's University.
