About Brandon Benn

With over three years of teaching experience and a MBA in Business Analytics, I am a passionate and versatile educator who strives to inspire and empower my students to achieve their academic and personal goals. I teach math and science to 4th and 5th grade students at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Academy, a diverse and inclusive community that values academic excellence, social justice, and faith formation. I enjoy creating engaging and interactive lessons that incorporate various lab assessments, experiments, and technology tools, and that foster critical thinking, collaboration, and curiosity among my students. In addition to my teaching role, I also leverage my business data skills to support the school administration and the parent association with data analysis, reporting, and budgeting. I have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting, and finance, which I developed through my previous work experiences as a business data analyst at C.H. Robinson, an audit intern at NYC Office of the Comptroller, and an accounting administrative assistant at R&D Tax and Accounting Associates. I am always eager to learn new skills and apply them to enhance the quality and efficiency of my work.
