About Brandon Bingham

As a Laboratory Manager and Researcher at the Yale Center for Infection & Immunity, I work on developing innovative and effective vaccines for respiratory pathogens, such as influenza, SARS-CoV-2, and RSV. With over 10 years of experience in biomedical research, I have acquired skills in cell culture, immunoassay, data analytics, coding, tissue collection, immunization, cloning, in-vitro transcription, PCR, nanoparticle preparation, mRNA/saRNA generation, antibody analysis, biosafety, epidemiology, and biostatistics.I am passionate about infectious diseases and their impact on human health and society. I started my career as a Combat Medic and Health Care Specialist in the Connecticut Army National Guard, where I learned how to treat and transport patients in various settings and scenarios. I also serve as an Instructor and a Medical Treatment Manager for the Army Medical Department, where I teach medical courses and manage medical supply logistics. I hold a M.S. in Infectious Disease from Drexel University College of Medicine and a B.S. in Health Sciences from Quinnipiac University. My mission is to help build the next generation of vaccination through communication and collaboration.
