As a highly accomplished management professional, I offer a track record of achievement in meeting organizational needs through effective recruiting and team building, training and development, goal-setting, and team leadership. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated excellence in enhancing policies and processes while improving the accuracy of documentation and reporting through effective system/data management. Additionally, I drive compliance with all applicable state and federal policies and regulations. Examples of my work include: Processed more than one million dollars in reenlistment bonuses and adopted policies that lifted bonus accuracy rates from 75% to 96% as Senior Career Counselor at Fort Hood, Texas. Coordinated training for more than 50 personnel on the Soldier for Life Transition Assistance Program and the Total Army Retention Program while at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Completed an assignment in Iraq as the Battalion Career Counselor for 500+ personnel, overseeing extension incentive programs, retention awards programs, quarterly retention training, and reenlistment publicity items. Developed a new recruiting strategy to drive enlistments in New Orleans, Louisiana and ensure recruits are trained and prepared for the U.S. Army. Retained 92% of all new recruits, exceeding Army standard of 85%. Throughout my US Army career, I earned a Bachelors in Business Administration from Trident at American Intercontinental University and completed certifications as an Army Recruiter and Career Counselor with the Army Recruit & Retention School. Additionally, I currently have an Active Secret Security Clearance. I will be transitioning out of the US Army in 2021 and am looking for networking opportunities.
