Team Leadership & Oversight - Directly manage a team of 23 FM & E staff across multiple rural healthcare facilities- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Capital & Budget Management - Oversee the operations and maintenance budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals- Utilize other capital funding streams including SSF (Site Specific Funding) and IMP (Infrastructure Maintenance Program)- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Facility Operations - Oversee the maintenance and operation of critical infrastructure, including boilers and building systems- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and healthcare facility requirements. Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with clinical teams, contractors, engineers, and consultants to plan and execute maintenance and project work- Act as a key liaison between FM & E and internal/external stakeholders. Performance & Reporting - Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including Preventative Maintenance (PM) completion rates and Deferred Maintenance (DM) delivery timelines- Drive operational excellence through data-informed decision-making. Qualifications- Proven experience in facility management, engineering, or a related field within healthcare or public infrastructure- Strong leadership and team management skills- Budgeting and capital planning expertise- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities- Knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulatory requirements.
