About Brandon Burris

My name is Brandon Burris and I am Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Boston Scientific, working remotely out of Louisville, KY. In my role, I support integration activities for the Urology franchise of Laser Consoles and Accessories. I have been with Boston Scientific since graduating undergrad (University of Louisville, BS in Bioengineering) working in multiple functions: Process Development Engineering, Production Supervision (Operations), Manufacturing Engineering, and now Regulatory Affairs. I have also received my Masters of Engineering in Engineering Management, also from the University of Louisville, since starting with BSC. While in undergrad, I also completed three engineering co-ops with BSC in the Spencer, IN manufacturing plant in the Process Development and Manufacturing Engineering departments, where I would return, full-time, as part of the Graduate Rotational Program for my first two years. During my time with BSC, I've worked across Endoscopy and Urology departments in multiple roles. I've gained experience in site audits as a Subject Matter Expert, lead cross-functional projects to support Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost initiatives, and supported large-scale Value Improvement Projects (VIPs). I've been involved in local Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) such as YPN (Young Professionals Network) and PRIDE (Promoting Respect, Inclusion, Diversity, and Equality)- serving different leadership roles in both. I take pride in the BSC co-op program, as this was my introduction to the company in college. I served on the Spencer, IN Co-op Steering Committee for ~4.5 years, and acted as both mentor and/or supervisor to numerous co-ops during this time. I take pride in my work and always thrive to improve the Quality of Patient Care and all things Boston Scientific.
