About Brandon Celedon

On December 14, 2020 I received my Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a Minor in Forensic Science. While attending Our Lady of the Lake University I served as the President for the Criminal Justice Society from the Spring of 2019 to the Fall of 2020 and a Member since the Fall of 2017. I also served as a student researcher for the Our Lady of the Lake University’s Cold Case Research Group that conducts in depth content analysis research on selected cold cases and reports back to the Cold Case Investigative Research Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. I am currently serving as an Alumni Research Mentor. I completed my internship with the Bexar County Felony Drug Court Department, received the OLLU Student Leadership and Excellence Award, was a Dean’s List Recipient three times, a Member of the National Honor Society of Leadership and Success, was selected as an OLLU Student Ambassador for the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, was awarded the Criminology and Criminal Justice Student of the Year award for the 2020 academic year, and most recently was awarded the National Criminal Justice Month Education Award bestowed by The Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS) for the work my fellow peers and I contributed in the Spring of 2020 with the Cold Case Investigative Research Institute (CCIRI). Lastly, I am currently attending Sam Houston State University, studying the Master of Science in Homeland Security Studies with a concentration in Critical Infrastructure and Protection.
