About Brandon Chan

I am currently studying Accounting at Western University. My goal is to become a CPA and I have already gained some work experience in the field as an Accounting Associate. I consider myself to be a problem solver and enjoy finding creative solutions to challenges that come my way. In addition to my studies and work experience, I serve as a Communications Executive for Students for Music and Wellness (SFMW), a Canadian, federally registered non-profit organization. At SFMW, our mission is to support those in long-term care homes affected by COVID-19, through the power of music and the leadership of youth. Outside of my professional life, I have a background in team sports, having played rep hockey for over 10 years. This experience has helped me build strong relationships and work effectively in a team environment. I believe that the values of teamwork and collaboration are important in any setting, whether it be in sports or the workplace. Overall, I am a driven and hardworking individual with a passion for accounting and finance. I am excited to see where my career takes me and am committed to continuing to learn and grow as a professional.
