About Brandon Dow

I find people who fall through gaps in our health system and provide them a safe, supportive environment to receive treatment. I gravitated to behavioral health because I wanted to have a deep, lasting impact on our community. As the only provider positioned to meet the needs of the high-acuity residents we serve, Orion's unique, specialized role is essential to Arizona's healthcare infrastructure. Social workers and case managers depend on us because we understand what works and what doesn't. • My passion is empowering adults to improve their life skills, manage their symptoms, be proactive about their care and contribute to their communities in healthy ways. Expanding access to care for marginalized and vulnerable communities has been a pillar of Orion's growth as we’ve become the premier residential behavioral health provider in Arizona and an award-winning industry leader. • Knowing that hundreds of people count on me – including our 100+ residents and 250+ employees (and their families), I focus on making high-quality decisions. My gut instinct is good, but I seek data for my decisions. I’m proud of the diverse team we’ve built and I know Orion thrives by drawing on their unique skills and perspectives. • Responsible, scalable growth takes a commitment to excellence at every level. I’m proud that during the Pandemic Orion made permanent benefit enhancements – our commitment to our entire team's health, well-being, and future ensures they will be able to focus on the health, well-being and futures of the challenging psychiatric residents they care for. • I know our community needs a broad array of organizations to strengthen and energize it, so our Orion Cares program makes monthly donations to charities our employees nominate. I’ve seen how large and small acts bind a community together and raise the quality of life for everyone, which is why I lead groups of employees, residents, and even my kids to volunteer in trail clean-ups at parks, meal packing at food banks and dog petting at animal shelters.
