About Brandon Eads

Growing up as part of a military household has taught me three things:1.) How to connect with people from all walks of life,2.) How to adapt somewhere new when you don't know anyone or anything about it, and3.) Cross-country U-Hauls are very expensive.Learning to adapt and forge great relationships quickly is something I've always been great at because of these lessons my parents unintentionally taught me. While working as a supervisor at Panera, I was hailed as everyone's "Favorite Manager" after working in a new café for only two months. I was even the schedule writer at the same time (if you've ever been a schedule writer for a bunch of high-schoolers, you know how much of an accomplishment this is). So when COVID hit and many were left jobless, I decided to pursue an interest that I had discovered during my brief stint in college. I signed up for an account at FreeCodeCamp and tried my hand at a few of their lessons in HTML and Java. From the minute I started, I had fallen head over heels for code. I had heard of a bootcamp nearby called Tech Elevator from a long time friend, and decided to pursue a career in the tech industry. The satisfaction I get after finally finding the problem in my code after staring at it for hours, and seeing it actually work for the first time is something I will always crave. Programming is something I may be new to, but it is something I will always enjoy.
