I am a higher education and arts leader who has worked in varied spaces, from peer mentorship roles to institutional administration, with a diverse set of skills including research, project development, event organization, and budget management. As an arts educator who has worked with a wide range of ages from elementary school children to post-secondary students, I am committed to flexibility and being sensitive to the concerns and interests of diverse demographics including the teaching strategies and forms of feedback individual students are most receptive to. My professional experience and personal standards prioritize community engagement and recognize the value of what I can learn in the process as I maintain a determination to foster sincere relationships that do not stray from accountability. Additionally, recent writing focuses on art and vulnerability as a vessel for education and development. This practice aims to further my own artistic research into empathy by acknowledging the value of work that addresses systemic forms of oppression.
