About Brandon Glenn

Brandon Glenn graduated with an AAS in Graphic Design from Des Moines Area Community College in 2005 with honors including Student of the Year 2004, Student of the Year 2005, Class Art Director, 1st Place Skills USA local Design Competition and High Honors / Gold Cord graduation honors. He received an award from the Art Directors Association of Iowa for a direct mail piece in 2005. Brandon joined Sammons Annuity Group designing internal and agent direct marketing for Sammons Annuity Group and their sister companies Midland National Life Insurance Company and North American Company for Life and Health Insurance. He worked on brand management, design and marketing. Brandon accepted a position with a new division of Sammons Financial Group: Sammons Retirement Solutions. He managed development of the SRS brand, training and guidance of marketing and design staff, print inventory management, coordination of print purchasing, as well as Art Direction of all marketing and collateral design. Brandon accepted a position with Continental Western Group in Urbandale. He conceived, created, and managed compelling visual communication design for business and client Property and Casualty Insurance markets through print, digital, social media, and video formats. Developed and managed brand identity, standards, and instituted guidelines. Established and implemented production, project management, and reporting processes. Managed vendor relationships, product quotes, and project proposals. Supervised graphic design intern. Brandon is a Part-time Paid-on-Call Firefighter/EMT/Driver-Operator, protecting and serving the city of West Des Moines by responding to life-safety situations, preserving property, and providing fire-safety education. In 2018, Brandon accepted a Full-Time position as Firefighter/EMT with the City of Clive Fire Department. In 2021 Brandon completed his State and National certification as Paramedic.
