About Brandon Hill

I am an experienced, safety-minded professional with 20 years of military service in the United States Marines Corps (environmental safety and health management, turbofan jet engine maintenance, laboratory (oil analysis), asset management, tools and support equipment, and Lean Six Sigma/Continuous Process Improvement). I have a passion for working with people and helping them to achieve success safely and efficiently. I have four years of safety management experience as a Safety Compliance Officer at the largest aviation logistics squadron in the Marine Corps (Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 14). During such time, I received over 240 credit hours of safety training and successfully reduced mishaps in the unit by 40%. I also have three years of experience as a workplace health and safety specialist at Amazon (2020-2023). I understand the need to balance safety with the production and management goals of the customer and the need for clear communication to meet or exceed set goals. I am also a commercially rated helicopter pilot with an instrument add-on and Certified Flight Instructor (Rotorcraft). I have over 360 total hours including 96 turbine hours and over 270 hours in the R-44. I have been fascinated by aircraft since childhood. After 20 years of working on and around aircraft, I decided it was finally time to start flying them. My certificates include a Bachelor of Science Degree (General Studies) and Associates of Applied Sciences (Aviation Technology-Rotary Wing) through Southern Utah University. I am also a certified Manager of Environmental Safety and Health Programs through North Carolina State University.
