About Brandon Hodge

I am currently a Senior at the University of South Carolina studying for a degree in both Finance and Statistics as well as a minor in computer science.I chose my majors because of my natural affinity for math and my love for finance and all the possibilities that open up once you obtain a deep understanding. Along with my minor in computer science, I hope to combine all the knowledge I learn throughout my years at college and utilize it in the quantitative finance field. I am eager to learn how to build financial models, automated programs, and trading algorithms at a professional level.Outside of academics I am a very active and social person. My first two years of college I was a Division 1 tennis player at University of Idaho before I suffered a career ending injury, which led to my transfer to University of South Carolina. Since my recovery, I still love to play any number of sports recreationally, workout, spend time outdoors and spend quality time with friends.I have continued to use my tennis talents as a Professional Tennis Coach both at Wild Dunes Resort over the summers and Forest Lake Club while I am in school in Columbia. Constantly working with kids and adults of all ages and skill levels has given me great time management, communication, and overall people skills.I am excited to see what the future holds for me and I am always open to any opportunities or connections that may come my way!
