About Brandon Isobe
Hello! My name is Brandon Isobe and I attend CSUN as a broadcasting journalism major. I am currently in my third year with a 3.73 GPA and expected to graduate May 2025. While attending CSUN, I have developed skills such as communication, problem solving, and public speaking to name a few. I have been employed at CSUN for two different jobs. I was a Supplemental Instructor for 1 year(2 academic semesters). I facilitated out-of-class interactive study sessions to help students learn course concepts, prepare for exams, and learn effective study skills. I got to develop relationships with my professors and supervisors while at this position. I decided to become a Peer Writing Specialist after being a year as a Supplemental Instructor. As a Peer Writing Specialist, I work at the LRC and help students on their writing whether it be for essays, speeches or assignments. After CSUN, I strive to become a sports journalist and cover sports such as basketball and baseball.
