About Brandon J. Ford

Brandon is a life-long entrepreneur, starting his first ‘business’ at the age of six collecting and recycling aluminum cans and bottles. Brandon worked his way from his humble beginnings to an Ivy-League education and law degree. A creative and energetic problem solver and proven leader, Brandon has built great teams in several roles most recently at TripHero. Moving to Vail, Colorado after losing his job in 2008, Brandon began working as a ski valet, and Brandon saw the problem people had traveling with luggage and gear and the idea for what would become TripHero was born. While working as the bell captain at the Lodge at Vail, Brandon talked with hundreds of customers about their pain points and discovered that luggage and gear wasn’t just a problem for the traveler, it was a major problem for the hotels and resorts as well. As the bell captain, Brandon saw first hand how hotels and resorts were inundated with, not only luggage, but packages as well. Brandon realized he was onto something much bigger than just shipping skis or a single product. The team decided to re-brand into TripHero. TripHero is a logistics company in the business of getting people’s stuff—whether it is luggage and gear or an Amazon prime packages—where you want it, when you want it. TripHero doesn’t just enhance the traveler’s experience, it relieves our hotel and resort partners of all the hassles associated with guest’s shipping, saving them countless hours and thousands of dollars each year.
