About Brandon Jaffe

I am a graduate of the Harbert College of Business at Auburn University. I had initially planned to go into engineering, after taking some of the core engineering classes I realized that my strengths were in business and information technology. I run my own business under the name Protogalaxysystems LLC, I repair and restore vintage stereo gear from the likes of Marantz, Pioneer, Mcintosh, Sansui, Nakamichi and just about every other major OEM from the 1960s to 1990s. I also repair and upgrade iPods and Zunes. I do a significant amount of troubleshooting and soldering to repair and restore vintage stereo equipment. My daily tasks include customer support, marketing, updating social media and listing items to sell. Many of these older electronics are running on their last legs, and I would just like to be able to help maintain them. Despite my business background I ultimately decided to stick with RF Engineering, hoping to offer a more business oriented view of of the field.
