About Brandon Johnpier

My name is Brandon Johnpier, currently serving as an active duty soldier in the army since 2010. From 2010-2013 I was a rifleman for a year and transitioned to a squad automatic rifleman position in which consisted of a combat deployment to Iraq. In 2013, I moved from Fort Bragg, NC to Fort Richardson, AK where I served as a squad leader and a heavy weapons squad leader. In those six years they were both airborne units in which we regularly conducted airborne operations and I personally conducted 50 airborne static line jumps out of a high performance aircraft. Shortly after I moved to Fort Benning, GA where I served as a Drill Sergeant for a little over two years and then transitioned to the SFAB (security forces assistance brigade) where we work with foreign partnered countries and advise them on operations and build rapport with our partner nations. During my time I’ve served in numerous leadership positions to include fire team leader, squad leader, platoon sergeant, drill sergeant and currently serving as a senior operations advisor. I have one combat deployment to Iraq in 2011 and an advisor mission to Honduras in 2022. Through my time in the military I’ve managed up to 240 soldiers and successfully completed multiple schools to include airborne school, air assault, heavy weapons leaders course, tactical combat casualty care, and 3 noncommissioned officers development courses.
