Currently the Chief of Police for the Elm Ridge Police Department, located in Denton County, Texas. Assisted in the implementation of the new Denton County Water District Police department (now Elm Ridge Police Department) as the first line officer hired in 2018; the year of implementation of the department. First Officer to promote through the ranks at the agency. Implemented the department’s field training program, school resource officer program, Flock LPR program, and police explorer program. Designed and oversaw the re-brand and transition from DCWD PD to Elm Ridge PD. Previous experience includes assignment as a canine handler and traffic officer with experience in accident reconstruction with the Little Elm Police Department also serving as Field Training Officer. Began career as a Crime Scene Investigator, Field Training Officer, and patrol officer with the Addison Police Department. Holds a Master of Public Administration from Arkansas State University (4.0 GPA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas, graduating Cum Laude. Valedictorian from the North Central Texas Council of Governments Police Academy. Holds a Master Peace Officer License through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
