I am a highly motivated and driven individual, actively seeking an internship opportunity for the Summer, 2024 in New York to further develop my skills in the field of real estate. As a major in real estate at the nationally ranked University of Miami, Herbert Business School, I am seeking an internship that can expose me to commercial property investment analysis, sales and brokerage, and capital advisory and financing. My coursework has equipped me with a solid foundation in finance, accounting, business law, marketing, and real estate investment, enabling me to approach problem-solving tasks with a strong analytical mindset. During my recent internship with $4B global insurance broker Alliant Insurance, I had the privilege of working in the Operations Unit. Collaborating closely with top insurance producers, I gained valuable experience in client engagement strategies across different sectors, such as REITs, industrial, healthcare, and private equity. Additionally, I provided support to producer teams in developing insurance renewal and new policy proposals, analyzing inbound client sales leads, and participating in various aspects of the underwriting process. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have demonstrated exceptional teamwork skills and have proven myself as an effective project manager. This was evident during my time at Alliant, where I experienced the role of a project manager, as well as taking the project lead position in various business case projects and group assignments. Furthermore, my strong presentation skills were honed during my internship, where I was entrusted with delivering a policy recommendation to a key client. Additionally, I have actively contributed to local grassroots efforts during my high school years and have developed a high level of adaptability through my experiences in different schools and communities across Illinois, Florida, and New York. With my solid academic background and recent internship experience, I am confident that I am well-prepared and am excited about the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the New York real estate market.
