About Brandon Lloyd

I am a hard-working, detail-oriented mechanical engineer, with a BS in mechanical engineering with a focus in thermo-fluids, from Washington State University. I have experience in thermal systems design, applied aerospace engineering, manufacturing and testing composite materials, and python. I am eager to improve my engineering skills in a full-time industry position. My previous experience includes customer service positions, an engineering capstone class, an aerospace design co-op at Belcan, and two engineering leadership positions at Palouse Aerospace, the aerospace club at WSU. I have competed at Spaceport America Cup 2023 as a part of a small team and achieved 43rd place out of more than 150 competing teams. My time at Palouse Aerospace taught me many important skills, including project management, team leadership, and a myriad of hands-on engineering skills. The biggest thing I learned from these positions was how to focus on what details of the project really matter, and how to ensure that those details meet the standards of the project. At Belcan, I worked closely with Boeing to support the USAF E-7A AWE & C program. I was trained in Catia V5, Enovia PDM, and CADDS5. In my free time, I enjoy playing with my dog, hunting, fishing, swimming, and modifying my home-built PC.
