About Brandon Moore

I take joy in expressing myself artistically through the medium of artificial intelligence: generating novel artwork, music, and interactive chatbots through the power of deep neural networks. My visual neuroscience expertise has gone hand-in-hand with a passion for machine learning and has driven a series of computer vision biomimicry side-projects. In the lab, I've applied these methods to the classification of electrophysiology, histology, and ligand binding affinity data.Over the course of my research career I've employed a variety of computational methods to process and analyze biological signals gathered from EEG, MEG, and single unit recordings. Due to the funding constraints typical in academia, I've learned to be resourceful and think outside of the box; often having to repair or build my own equipment in order to get the job done.Besides AI and neuroscience, I'm probably best known for being a contestant on the first season of TBS's King of the Nerds.
