About Brandon Posey

I have worked in the Medical Device Machining Industry for 12 years as of August 2025. I'm currently a full time CNC programmer for the Turnmill department at Intech in Athens, AL (formerly know as Turner Medical). I have 7 years of Surfcam programming experience. I write programs for a Mazak I-150 (5-Axis I-Machine), Mazak I-100ST (5-Axis Turnmill), and Mazak Nexus Lathe (3 Axis). I've also wrote programs for a Mazak 3 Axis mill and a 5 Axis Variax as well, but that's not something in which I'm normally tasked. I spent 3 years setting up and running Turnmills. I have the most experience on an I-150. I've set up, programmed, and ran parts that have some of the tightest tolerances in the industry. I started my career with no previous experience in the field and in 4.5 years I was promoted to a full time CNC programmer. My main strength is being able to adapt and learn things as I go. I take pride in the work I do, and when I don't know how to do something, I am not afraid to ask for help.
