About Brandon Pulera

Hi! I just graduated from UW-Parkside with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. The unique problems I faced requiring a balance of creativity and critical thinking have prepared me for success. During my time studying at Parkside I worked primarily with Java, C++, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. My latest school projects have had me using the Agile development method with 2 week sprints, version control with GitHub, and workflow organization using Jira. These projects were focused on developing a web page for a land development start-up and setting up testing for other projects. Alongside my schooling, I have worked with the archives to track down bugs in their web hosting system, improve webpage design with CSS, and create a program to improve their digital preservation workflow. Now, I am searching for a job in computer science. I am interested in using my OOP skills to work in full stack with Java. My experience working with JavaScript/HTML/CSS would make me a good fit to work in parallel with web designers. I have a bit of experience with Python and could learn any language needed quickly.
