As a logistics operations professional, I have 17+ years of experience developing and implementing inventory management processes to drive continuous improvement and productivity outcomes for large-scale military warehouses, storage units or government facilities. When I joined the military, my desire was to grow as a leader and offer others the resources they needed to be successful. I learned the importance of commitment, punctuality, leadership, and sacrifice from my father. Each day, I mirror his passion and dedication — and mission to always demonstrate the best version of myself. After transitioning out of the Army Reserve, I wanted to work in a field that would tie together my logistics experience with a goal of operations efficiency. I am very quality-driven and have held multiple shipping and receiving roles that required regular use of six sigma and lean manufacturing principles to reduce excessive costs, safety or maintenance issues. I am a support type of guy. In my auditor and project manager positions, I have been recognized for motivating my team to enhance inventory procedures while adhering to DOT compliance, statement of work (SOW), and regulatory guidelines. Now that my most recent mission has come to a close, I approach new logistics, shipping and receiving, and warehouse operations opportunities with an open mind (for more knowledge), open ears (for listening to understand), and an open heart (for customer satisfaction).
