About Brandon Rosebrock

I started my career in the fire service in 2002, with a strong desire to give back to my community. I started on a small volunteer department, where I obtained my Fire II, EMT and HazMat Technician. Wanting to expand my education and experience, I joined a busier department. During that time I completed my Paramedic certification and eventually became a fulltime firefighter paramedic. I completed my Fire Officer I and II and obtained my instructor and my 1403 certification. While working as a full time firefighters paramedic I was also working as a part-time on another department. An opportunity presented itself for me to become the Captain of Training. while in that role I completed by Fire Safety Inspector certification. I held that position until January of 2025, when I assumed the role as Fire Chief. Rising through the ranks, different departments, mentors and experiences have given me the foundation to to be a good leader. A fire chief during an opening statement at the State Fire School once said "never forget where you came from, because one day you may have to go back there". That statement has stuck with me over my career and I'm not afraid or too good to jump in and help out. I want to set a good example for the new generation of firefighters coming in and instill the work ethic and drive that seems to be going by the way side. Our profession is the greatest in the world and we need to lead those coming after us to want to carry on the profession and teach others. I hope during my career I can instill the drive and passion into the new generations of firefighters and keep this great profession going.
