I’m a seasoned full-stack developer, business owner, and problem solver with over 15 years of experience turning ideas into real, scalable web platforms. Since 2009, I’ve been at the helm of Phoenix Coding, where I lead a team focused on building modern, high-impact web solutions for startups, small businesses, and established brands. In late 2024, I also became co-owner of The API Guys, expanding my work into deeper integration and automation services. My foundation in Geographic Information Science and Cartography (B.S. from the University of North Georgia) gives me a unique lens on data visualization, spatial thinking, and system design. I began my career at GetUWired, cutting my teeth on custom development projects and gaining insight into the needs of small business owners — a passion that continues to drive my work today. Beyond code, I’m a dedicated environmentalist, conservationist, and outdoor adventurer. I’ve traveled to 13 countries, nearly all 50 U.S. states, and spend my downtime exploring nature with my two dogs. Known in some circles as Captain Phoenix, I bring creativity, grit, and purpose to every challenge — whether it’s in the digital world or the great outdoors.
