About Brandon Shaw

I am a Mechanical Engineer with a strong interest in integrating my knowledge of mechanics into other related engineering fields to devise quality solutions to the world's many challenges. I am pursuing a career in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering (full-time opportunities strongly preferred), and although I am very enthusiastic about my particular field of study, I would also appreciate the opportunity to dive head-first into other related fields as I am constantly looking to expand my knowledge base.As Software Engineer at Belcan Engineering, I developed control system testing and design solutions while interfacing directly with customers to ensure their satisfaction and provide quality support. This position has enabled me to apply my knowledge of mechanical systems to the world of software engineering and test development while also allowing me to develop my skills in script development and logic design. Previously, I engaged in an engineering internship program at Anderson Power Products, an international electronics connector design and manufacturing company based out of Sterling, MA, where I designed and tested injection-molded electronic connectors. Prior to this, I studied at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Electrical and Computer Engineering. It was through these studies that I was able to discover that my passion lied in the integration of electronics and mechanics, a passion I plan to pursue and apply to the modern world.
