I am currently studying a Bachelor's of Health Science at Griffith University with a deep aspiration to pursue further education within a Doctor of Medicine. Since venturing into the world of medical science I have acquired an extensive and compelling passion for this field. I strive to assist those in need and aid in any possible way, hence why a career as a health profession is the area in which gives me great pleasure and satisfaction. I believe I possess effective communication skills which complements problem solving and teamwork, that I have acquired through a variety of positions that all heavily rely on these indispensable skills. More specifically my work as a tutor has provided me with valuable life skills that have forged me into the person I am today. My ability to listen, comprehend and assess other's perspectives has taught me invaluable knowledge and has allowed me to develop individually to approach new scenarios uniquely to each other whilst being able to relate and communicate to other's effectively. I believe I displayed effective communication as demonstrated by my liaison with parents and taking consideration awareness of social and cultural mindsets to maintain the flow of productive communication exchange. Forbye, I have become adaptable in my capabilities to respond to unforeseen dilemmas that may emerge and I am able to expeditiously apply critical thinking to swiftly rectify issues that may be encountered. Additionally teamwork has played a crucial role within tutoring because a tutor is apart of a team of other tutors, the parent of the child and any other close links to the child. It is of importance for me to utilise my communication skills to effectively relay information between the involved parties to ensure the most efficient results and an optimal learning environment. It is my intention to obtain and refine the imperative skills required to undertake work as a health professional, more precisely a physician.
