About Brandon Womack

20-year Naval Aviation maintenance manager with a continued passion for compliance and readiness. Currently working in an Inspection Readiness/Project Management role as a contractor within Amgen's Center for Observational Research where I engage with stakeholders and scientists to ensure procedural and regulatory compliance within operations. In my previous role as an Operations Strategic Planning Senior Associate Fellow, I completed multiple business cases ranging from Risk Management to Training Implementation. I coordinated a 1st ever combined business case within Operations Strategy & Business Resilience which provided financial, supply, and support case documentation which progressed two new pharmaceutical drugs to First-in-Human trials ahead of schedule. Prior to my fellowship, I filled the role of Senior Quality Assurance Representative in the U.S. Navy. I monitored and ensured the highest standards of aircraft maintenance, safety, and compliance. I monitored six critical maintenance programs and provide guidance and support to 120 employees in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. I was also responsible for conducting routine audits, investigations, and upline discrepancy reporting. I provided change management and process improvements in multiple positions during service. I hold a Certified Postsecondary Instructor credential and a Master Training Specialist designation, demonstrating my expertise and commitment to quality education and training. Prior to my QMS role, I was the lead of a Learning Management Office and an Instructor for the U.S. Navy, where I oversaw the business case analysis/curriculum development, delivery, and evaluation of 93 Naval Aviation technical courses across three major aircraft platforms, ordnance, and shipboard operations. I also have extensive hands-on experience as an Aviation Structural Mechanic and an Aircraft Inspector, with an active security clearance and a proven record of team-based troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. I am passionate about enhancing readiness and performance through excellence in quality assurance, project management, maintenance management, safety risk mitigation and instruction.
