About Brandy Burgess

As Director of Campus Events with over 13 years of senior management experience in higher education, I leverage my program management expertise and customer service excellence to create and deliver engaging and inspiring events for the Colorado School of Mines community. As a self-proclaimed tech nerd, I like to explore new technologies and software to make event planning and service requests as easy and accessible as possible for our communities. I am passionate about enriching the educational journeys of students, faculty, and staff, and supporting the institutional vision and mission through creative problem solving. My core competencies include program development, project management, financial planning/reporting, leadership training and development, software management and policy creation. I also excel at cultivating and sustaining robust partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to champion and reinforce program objectives. My mission is to serve as a positive, collaborative leader who empowers others to achieve personal growth and performance excellence. I am always eager to learn new skills, explore new ideas, and embrace new challenges.
