I have a passion for the web and a desire to make it better. My love for problem solving is fulfilled every day when a new programming challenge presents itself. I grew up when you had to wait for your parents to get off the phone to connect to the internet. This scarcity increased my appreciation for the time I had on a computer. I became obsessed with maximizing the time I had. Then came the days of MySpace and custom profile layouts. It introduced me to the world of web development. As a teenager, it felt like magic. I could set a CSS property and see that change instantly on my screen! Every update provided a rush of serotonin. This is where my love for front-end development began. I started my career off by building and publishing hybrid mobile apps for the transportation industry. I now have over a decade of professional experience with web technologies. I am a quick learner when it comes to new programming languages and frameworks. I take pride in my attention to detail and consistency. Implementing an idea with pixel perfection is my specialty. The majority of my career has been spent building Ionic Framework, an open-source component library for mobile apps, at Ionic. I began contributing to Ionic Framework in 2015 and am a top contributor on GitHub. I have played several vital roles in developing the framework, from adding new components to publishing new releases. Ionic Framework is used by 5 million developers worldwide and thousands of enterprise customers.
