About Branko Dalcekovic

While studying engineering, contrary to most software engineering students, I knew I wanted to become a manager with a strong technical background. Acting as a true leader in many situations and areas in life, I really enjoyed leading. I knew technical knowledge could be a great advantage over most managers. Today I consider myself as a trustworthy and inspiring leader with a strong technical background and lean mindset. Much leadership training helped, including Schneider Electric's Executive Development Program 9-month training in cooperation with prestige UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, NC, USA. Both technical and leadership experience was gained at Schneider Electric DMS NS LLC, where I was helping more than 60 Scrum teams and more than 800 people working on the best software for power utilities in the world. I helped by coaching, improving transparency, and fostering collaboration between different sectors. We scaled Scrum. Some of the biggest achievements are: reducing 30% number of bugs in 1 year period while leading a big department of 100 engineers with lots of bugs, implementing Google OKRs, introducing planning of the bugs, being the change agent for scaling agile. Big honor was a special Excellent Leadership award in the company given to 20 out of employees per year.
