Brannon Schell, the owner and lead instructor at NorCal MedTac, brings over two decades of experience as a First Responder and Paramedic to his training programs. A native of Santa Cruz, CA, Brannon’s extensive career includes roles as a Paramedic, Seasonal Wildland Firefighter, Paid-Call Firefighter, and Field Training Officer. His dedication to emergency response has also seen him serve on AMR’s Disaster Response Team, with deployments to critical events such as Hurricane Katrina, the BART Verdict Riots, and the Oceana Airlines crash. Brannon’s expertise extends into the realm of firearms and tactical training. He holds multiple NRA instructor ratings, is a Certified Range Safety Officer (CRSO), and currently serves as the Range Master for the Scotts Valley Sportsmen’s Club. His advanced training includes completion of the CA EMSA and CA POST Accredited SWAT Medic Program, and he provides advisory services to various agencies on Tactical Medicine programs.
