About Brant Carman

My name is Brant Carman. I grew up on a small apple orchard in Yakima, WA - surrounded by agriculture. I've always had a passion for agriculture and technology. I have a BA in Environmental Studies, with a heavy focus in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and have spent many years engineering data collection and web mapping solutions for the WA State Dept. of Agriculture. In 2022, I followed in my father's footsteps and became involved with produce packaging and automation. Working primarily with 4HM Solutions. Stepping a bit out of my comfort zone behind a computer screen, and into more of a sales role. I enjoy helping to connect customers with products and equipment that work well and improve operations and output. And my technical background gives me a unique edge to accomplish this. Like many in WA, I also have friends and family all over Washington's ag industry, and love the networking and connections that come with working in this field. If you ever have any questions about automation, or are interested in looking into new packaging solutions or materials for existing equipment, please feel free to reach out!
