Hello, I'm Braxton Dalton, a junior immersed in the dynamic realm of Business Marketing at Wayne State College. Recognizing the paramount significance of data in shaping effective business decisions in both sales and marketing, I've embarked on a journey to harness its potential and grow my skills to innovate companies. During my tenure as a leader on the Malcolm Digital Media Team in high school, I thrived in collaborative environments, where I engaged in a variety of projects. From spearheading content creation initiatives for the school district to analyzing data associated with different media campaigns, I had opportunities to broaden my skill set. Notably, I ventured into the global sphere by conducting interviews with international guests on our video blog "Malcolm Castaways," a platform that also allowed me to develop some skills in facets of video and image editing. My passion for the dynamic world of business deepened during high school, propelling me toward an exploration of business marketing in college. My coursework has only intensified my fascination with both marketing and finding innovative ways to communicate with others. Beyond academic pursuits, I've embraced pivotal leadership roles such as the 2024-25 Nebraska State College Board of Trustees student representative, Wayne State Student Senate government chair, Future Business Leaders of America Collegiate chapter member, Delta Sigma Pi brother, and Resident Assistant in on-campus housing. The summers of 2023 and 2024 proved transformative as I embarked on a remarkable marketing and sales internship. Collaborating with a pioneering bioscience company, I delved into intricate projects. My responsibilities spanned enhancing website accessibility, conducting competitor pricing analyses, optimizing search engine outcomes using data on Google Search Console, leveraging Matomo web analytics for insightful reporting, and implementation and oversight of lead generation using ZoomInfo Marketing. This immersive experience provided firsthand insights into real-world marketing and sales dynamics, serving as a profound learning milestone. Numbers and communicating with others excites me and I can't wait to see what innovative ways I'll be able to help companies in the future. I would love to expand my network to continue learning and embracing fresh perspectives from business, marketing, and sales professionals alike.
