I've been working in maintenance for 8 years mainly focusing on Cardline and passport machines in the printing industry. For the last 2 and a half years I've been a Senior Maintenance Technician at E7 Security - E7 Group in Abu Dhabi. Before that I spent almost 5 and a half years at MCT Cards and Technology Pvt Ltd in Manipal starting as a Trainee Maintenance Engineer and working my way up to Senior Maintenance Engineer. During my time in these roles I've been responsible for various maintenance tasks such as keeping the machines running smoothly fixing them when they break down and making sure they're well-maintained according to a schedule and more detailed roles are noted below : 1. Handled all types of machine maintenance: Took care of machines by doing regular check-ups to prevent issues fixing them when they broke and making sure they were working correctly according to a set schedule. 2. Looked for alternative suppliers: Actively searched for different places to buy spare parts from to save money while still making sure the parts were reliable and worked well with the machines. 3. Maintained good communication: Stayed in touch with both customers and suppliers to address any problems that came up and find solutions together. 4. Analyzed breakdown causes: Figured out why machines kept breaking down or why certain expensive parts were needed frequently to find ways to stop these issues from happening again. 5. Fostered teamwork: Encouraged a positive team environment and made sure everyone was working well together to get things done efficiently. 6. Managed inventory wisely: Made smart decisions about what parts and supplies to keep in stock to save the company money and avoid waste. 7. Created regular reports: Made weekly and monthly reports to review the company's performance and see how well it was meeting its goals. 8. Improved machine metrics: Made sure machines were fixed quickly when they broke (MTTR) and worked well for long periods between breakdowns (MTBF) meeting targets by constantly making things better through small improvements (kaizens). 9. Assisted with new machine installations: Helped the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) engineers management set up and start using new machines. 11.
