About Brayden Osborn

I’m a passionate, hardworking and community minded person. I have a positive attitude towards new challenges and opportunities, I thrive working as part of a team and as an individual and I am successful with little to no supervision. My formal education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Vancouver Island University, Fire Officer 1 & 2 certification and a multitude of fire service-related certifications, I am currently working towards a Certificate in Emergency Management and my Fire Officer 3 & 4. My background includes over 9 years in the fire service, several years in the construction industry, in customer service, and most recently, I was an Engineering Project Coordinator for Andritz Automation, an international Engineering firm. I have led, supported, and contributed to the successful completion of many projects in a variety of industries. This experience is well demonstrated by my recent work developing a comprehensive first responders mental health handbook. This handbook was standardized for 9 regional fire departments to enhance the support and resources for firefighters and their families within those departments. I am honest, dedicated and I love to learn new skills and abilities. Outside of my professional experience, I have always been drawn to the great outdoors, ever ready for the next adventure.
