During my Public Service studies and student employment, I have refined research and policy analysis skills. Developing the ability to analyze issues and express relevant material to management through various methods such as reports, briefing notes, cost-benefit analyses, risk analyses and comparative research studies. • Through my years of service with the Canadian Armed Forces, I extensively developed my abilities to work effectively within a team-based environment, while learning the importance of perseverance and the benefits of quickly learning the subject matter of the work I am doing. • Thorough experience in communications gained across years of customer service experience and the MPS Program. I can comfortably prepare and present research and knowledge, and engage in effective collaboration with team members, and management. • Showcased a strong ability to take initiative and work independently while developing problem-solving skills as I worked with the National Research Council’s International Relations Office to build a briefing book to prepare the NRC Presidents Mission to Japan in October 2022.
